As part of strengthening cooperation with official institutions in Germany, Dr. Farhad Ali, President of Journalists Without Borders and Human Restart, met with Mr. Thomas Kufen, Mayor of the German city of Essen.
The meeting discussed prospects for joint cooperation between both sides within the context of the organizations’ activities and programs, focusing on mechanisms to support members of immigrant communities in Germany and facilitate their integration into society. During the meeting, Mr. Kufen emphasized his keenness to cooperate and to provide the city’s resources in ways that benefit these communities and enhance their active participation.
The Mayor also expressed his deep appreciation to Dr. Farhad Ali for his outstanding efforts in serving immigrant communities through the diverse initiatives and activities of the two organizations, wishing for the continuation of this constructive cooperation for the good of society.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Farhad Ali presented a joint honorary shield from both organizations to Mr. Thomas Kufen, congratulating him on his victory in the recent elections and the renewal of confidence in him as Mayor of Essen.
